About Me

Every psychotherapist is different and works in slightly different ways, not every psychotherapist is right for every client.

You can work on resilience and self compassion at any time, you do not need to be in crisis.

I work in an instinctive adaptive manner and through my experience can hold and work alongside you towards the goals you want to achieve for yourself, bringing focus and clarity.

I currently hold the CHP(NC) and am working towards ADHP(NC) with full UKCP accreditation.

Every persons goals, wants and fears are different and thats why my therapeutic style is not prescriptive, perfectly tailored for you, your situation and your life.

We will use a variety of differing tools to achieve results that include mindfulness based cognitive therapy, hypnosis, self hypnosis, out of session tasks and psychotherapeutic interventions.

Through my self awareness and cultural sensitivity we can create a safe confidential space for youto explore and evaluate your goals.

I have been asked for solutions for this that and the other, I always reply that you bring solutions with you, I’m here to get you to wherever it is you want to be.

Amongst my many qualifications I have completed an equality and diversity diploma from the NCFE, and a certificate in Mental Health First Aid.

I began my training in 2013 with The National College of Hypno-Psychotherapy.

NCHP is one of the founding members of the UKCP, I deliberately picked a long, comprehensive course to what will be a Masters Level Advanced Diploma in Hypno-Psychotherapy. This ensures I am expertly trained, while being regularly independently supervised by an Internationally renowned Hypno-Psychotherapist and meet the criteria of ongoing continuing professional development.

I am a board member of the National Colleges and also presented at the 2018 Annual International Conference. Currently student representative to the Academic Board of the National Colleges, ensuring the next generation of students are adequately supported.

Joining you on your journey to the best you

I am currently a Trainee member of UKCP Listed Here, my trainee status indicates that I have met the required educational standards and training, can start in private practice and work towards the 450 clients hours for full membership. I personally believe seeing a psychotherapist who holds an internationally recognised accreditationis important and vital to ensure standard of a psychotherapists education. I abide by the UKCP ethics and complaints policies and procedures which can be viewed here.

Along with UKCP required private supervision I also attend a Clinical Discussion Group with Pink Therapy and have peer supervision as Chair of OxFriend.

Your piece of mind that I and those who support me are working effectively towards your goals.

Pink Therapy is the UK’s largest independent therapy organisation working with gender and sexual diversity clients, I am currently applying to become an Accredited Sexual Diversity Therapist.

I am insured as a trainee Hypno-Psychotherapist for your complete peace of mind through Balens specialist insurers as part of the UKCP scheme.

I invested in my training and continue to do so.
I can help you invest in You.
